Travel&Culture: Overnight Greensboro and Seagrove Adventure

A short trip to another city is always fun.  New experiences, laughs and food is a great way to share and bond. 

An overnight visit to Greensboro and the Pottery Capital of the United States, Seagrove, NC.  We will visit the International Civil Rights Center and Museum, a ghost and history evening tour (if available), experience the history and various techniques of pottery in Seagrove as well as shop in the many studios in town.  Of course, eating and drinking will be experienced.  Overnight in Greensboro.    

Schedule:
Leave Charlotte on 4/26 for lunch in Greensboro
Arrive in Greensboro and lunch
International Civil Rights Center and Museum
Check into Marriott downtown Hotel (Make a reservation quickly)
Early dinner
Evening Ghost Tour (upon availability)

4/27:
Learn about why Seagrove is the home of beautiful handmade pottery.
Shop and Explore the more than 40 pottery shops.
Lunch/Early dinner and return home.

Carpool (if possible) to meet at downtown Greensboro by 11:30 am for lunch
Wear walkable shoes/sneakers.

If you decide to cancel, the $50 deposit is not refundable/no refunds/no club credit but a formal cancelation notification is expected and appreciated.
