Please feel free to disregard this email if you have already signed up for, or already decided not to participate in, CWC’s pre-Christmas trip to Washington DC.
But- maybe you are interested in joining CWC Travel Club’s December 1-6, 2025 trip to Washington DC. If you want to join the trip, please REPLY to Valerie Roberts ASAP. We have reserved a Washington Luxury Mansion through Airbnb (details below). Our trip is limited to 12, but due to changing schedules, we now have one opening. In addition, we would love to create a waitlist of at least 3 CWC members.
As stated, if you want to go, reply to Valerie by clicking this link right away since reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis. Initial room deposit is $355 (=50% of your room rent for the week….details below).

Washington DC Trip 2025 Smithsonian Museums
At our June 30, 2025 Travel Club meeting Valerie Roberts presented details of a proposed CWC Travel Club trip to Washington DC , December 1-December 6, 2025. We’ve agreed with Laurey’s request that the trip be limited to 12 CWC members because the timing conflicts with the CWC Christmas Luncheon.
We will be staying at a Luxury Mansion in NW Washington, with a gourmet kitchen, living room and roof deck, and a separate room for each of our 12 Washington travelers.
The Luxury Mansion.
The amazing 12-bedroom, 6 full bath Luxury Mansion in NW Washington is still available. The Mansion sounds incredible, and the pictures are gorgeous. It provides plenty of luxurious space for us to relax, socialize and eat-in (if we want). It features a private roof deck with views of Washington. and provides convenient access to downtown attractions such as the Smithsonian, etc. Every traveler will have her own room.

Your total lodging cost (including your own single room at The Mansion) will be approximately $142 per night. That means that each of
us will pay a total of $709 for our 5 nights’ lodging. CWC-made breakfasts at the Mansion will add about $10/day.
To reserve a spot , you will need to put down a deposit of $335 (= 50% of the cost of your 5-day lodging cost) by 5 PM, Sunday July 27. The other 50% ($335) will be due no later than October 2, 2025

Cancellations: If you reserve a room and pay a deposit but change your mind, another CWC member can take over your reservation.
Our host will not rent the house for less than 5 nights.
